Clarkesville Street will be closed from Martin Luther King Jr. Drive to North Main
Some 200 cyclists are expected to descend on Habersham County Saturday, February 25 for the start of the Assault on Mt. Currahee. Registration begins at 7 a.m. at the Historic Train Depot in Cornelia. The race starts at 10 a.m. from the Depot parking lot.
A police escort will lead cyclists out of town through city streets, along Dicks Hill Parkway through to the Lake Russell Wildlife Management Area.
The 36-mile gravel grinder covers approximately 9 miles of asphalt and 30 miles of gravel enroute to the top of Currahee Mountain in Toccoa.

Clarkesville Street from Martin Luther King Jr. Drive to North Main Street will be closed from 8 a.m. – 3 p.m. The Depot parking lot will also be closed.
