Blakley Eugene Lewallen, age 84, passed away Monday, January 16, 2017.
A celebration of his life will be held Saturday, January 21, 2017 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, 1370 Industrial Blvd, Baldwin, Georgia 30511. Burial will follow in Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery in Baldwin, Georgia with Rev. Phillip Yarber officiating.
The family will greet friends Friday, January 20, 2017 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, Georgia. A time of visitation will also be held Wednesday, January 18, 2017 from 6:00pm until 7:00pm at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home.

Blakley was born in Banks County, Georgia on September 28, 1932. He lived in Soperton, Georgia for 39 years but for the last year and a half, Blakley has lived in Macon, Georgia. He was a construction worker and a former employee of Dublin Construction Company. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting and farming.
Blakley is preceded in death by his parents, Felton and Ora Lewallen and his siblings, Lillian Yarber, Ruth James, Purney Dockery, Vivian Martin, Vernon Lewallen and Ramona Hill.
Blakley is survived by his daughter, Pam Lewallen and her mother, Rhonda Lewallen of Macon, Georgia; sons, Wesley Lewallen and Dean Lewallen and their mother, Louise Lewallen of Lula, Georgia; sister, Bunice Smith of Baldwin; brother, Robert Lewallen of Orlando, FL; and several nieces and nephews.
