Truett baseball picked to finish seventh in AAC

The Truett McConnell baseball team has been picked to finish seventh in the upcoming Appalachian Athletic Conference season as voted on by the league’s coaches.

Tennessee Wesleyan was tabbed to repeat as champions.

The Bears finished three points out of fifth place, held by both Milligan and Reinhardt. Bryan, Point and Union were picked second, third and fourth, respectively.

The Bears are coming off of a 29-28 season last year that saw TMU head to Kingsport for the conference tournament.

TMU will open play on January 31 at home against Toccoa Falls at 2 p.m.
