David Campbell has been named Appalachian Athletic Conference Player of the Week as announced by the league office Monday afternoon.
Campbell is the first men’s basketball player not from Union College to win the weekly award in 2016-17.
Campbell averaged 17 points a game last week as the Bears went 1-1 on a Florida road trip. He shot nearly 41 percent from the field as well.
The Bears will next be in action on December 28 in exhibition action against North Carolina Central.
