The Raiders continue to look for their first win of the 2016-17 season after falling to 0-6 Friday night after a loss to visiting Chestatee.
The War Eagles used a handful of three-pointers in a 24-point scoring outburst in the first quarter to get past Habersham, 59-43. Chestatee had over half a dozen players score in the first quarter.
The Raiders made a second quarter comeback attempt with 16 points, but the War Eagles matched the output to take a 40-23 halftime lead. The Hab Central defense held the visitors to just 19 points the final 16 minutes, but managed only 20 on offense down the stretch.
Habersham moved to 0-6 with the loss, while Chestatee improved to 3-5.
