DEMOREST, Ga. – Habersham Medical Center is once again offering audiology services. Provided by Dr. Susan Parr, a board certified audiologist, the new audiology clinic offers hearing tests, as well as hearing aid sales and service.
A Pennsylvania native, Dr. Parr graduated from the University of Florida with a Doctor of Audiology degree, earned a Master of Science degree from Pennsylvania State University and a Bachelor of Science degree from West Virginia Wesleyan College.
With more than 30 years of experience, she previously was the owner, clinical director and audiologist with Parr’s Pro Hearing Services, Inc. in Huntingdon, Pennsylvania, and previously served on the Habersham Medical Center Medical Staff from 2008 to 2013.
Dr. Parr and her audiology assistant, Anita Mauldin, are very excited to be back providing services at Habersham Medical Center at their previous location.
She is a member of the American Academy of Audiology and served as President of the Georgia Academy of Audiology.
She and her husband Donald have two children and three grandchildren and reside in Gainesville, Ga.
