Early/Advanced Voting ends Friday

The 2016 General Election is now just days away and if you want to cast your ballot early, you’d better hurry. Early/Advanced Voting ends Friday. That’s also the deadline to apply for absentee ballots.

So far, more than one-third of Habersham County’s 20,320 active registered voters have cast ballots. Many more are expected to follow suit this week now that the county has opened up its two main precincts.

Habersham North located at the Ruby C. Fulbright Aquatic Center in Clarkesville and Habersham South at First Baptist Church of Cornelia are open to voters from 8 a.m – 7 p.m. through Friday, Nov. 4th. If you vote by then, you may vote at either location regardless of where your assigned precinct is located. If you wait until Election Day on Nov. 8th to vote, you must vote at your assigned precinct.

The Habersham County Elections & Registration Office is also open for Early/Advanced Voting through Friday during the hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
