Habersham Central came one touchdown away from possibly playing beyond next Friday night, their final regular season game. The Raiders needed a win to stay alive in the playoff hunt, but fell 35-28 at Winder-Barrow to drop to 4-5 on the season.
The loss is the fourth in a row for the Raiders, who fell 9-0 in last week’s loss versus Dacula on the home field. Habersham closes its season next Friday night at home against Aplachee. The Raiders will look to finish strong and possibly end 2016 on a high note and get back to .500.
