The Truett McConnell women’s basketball team took on Thomas University October 27 to start the Tron Griffin era.
The Bears have a jam-packed schedule in the first two weeks of the season, taking on Thomas tomorrow, Toccoa Falls on November 1 and Middle Tennessee State on November 3. TMU will open up the home slate of games on Homecoming Day against Toccoa Falls on November 12.
TMU will then open its AAC schedule at home against Columbia on November 16 before hitting the road for two weeks. The Bears will then play seven of the next nine contests inside The Bear Cave starting on November 30 against Union.
The second half of the season will start after 2017 begins with a home game against AAC foe St. Andrews on January 3, starting a month where TMU will play six of its 10 games at home.
