“Jeff has tirelessly strived to improve the level of his photographic skills,” said Kevin A. Jiminez, executive director of the Georgia Professional Photographers Association. “His pursuit has been able to consistently garner top awards given in the annual image competition held by the Georgia Professional Photographers Association. Jeff has been able to win these awards across a variety of categories showing a diverse body of work at a high level. His accomplishments in this area are complimented by his tireless dedication to the Association and sharing his knowledge with not only the students that he works with at North Georgia Technical College but also in his various professional associations. This willingness to share his knowledge is part of what drives him to improve which, in turn, brings him more to share.”

Jeff moved to Northeast Georgia after having a very successful photography business in Atlanta as well as working as a photographer for the State of Georgia and the Atlanta Police Department. Gulle has been teaching at NGTC for nine years, and his passion for teaching and love of his students are evident to anyone that visits the photography department on the Clarkesville campus. He willingly shares his incredible knowledge with students to help them be the best photographers they can be. He has mentored and trained several of NGTC’s national medal winners in the SkillsUSA photography contest held each year.

Gulle’s students are proud of his accomplishments and grateful to have him as an instructor. Makenzie Hurley, a student of Gulle, says, “It’s not a surprise to learn that Mr. Gulle has won Photographer of the Year again! He’s an amazing photographer, an excellent teacher and the reason students like me come to North Georgia Tech – so that one day we can be as good as him!”
