Conveniently located near downtown Clarkesville, the Clarkesville Farmers Market is a 100% chemical free outdoor market (which includes up to six Certified Naturally Grown farms) that’s open Saturdays, 9 a.m. until noon. It’s located next to The Old Clarkesville Mill (683 Grant Street).

A Frayed Knot: Linda offers up handmade sewn bags and bibs. Boutique baby bibs (designer fabrics backed with minky or cotton chenille) are on sale for $7 (usually $9). Also available, reusable and water-resistant waxed canvas lunch bags (two left), leather key fobs, and cotton webbing wristlet fobs.
Aprons–Ties That Bind: Sadie Kelly is a local maker of aprons, aprons, and more aprons. She makes them for babies, children, teens, women, and even men. Some aprons are fun, others are cute, others are creative, but all are great for utilitarian use―the original purpose for aprons. No two are ever exactly the same. And she has new ones each week.
Granola Bar and Grill: Jimmy and Patty use all natural ingredients in their Rock-N-Ola artisan granola bar bites like toasted old fashioned oats with deluxe nuts; dried fruits like cranberries, golden raisins, cherries, blueberries, mango, pineapple & coconut; sunflower seeds; and local raw B&B honey in each batch. Their granola bites are hand packaged and sold in 8 and16 oz. bags.
Jarhead Farm (CNG): Cliff expects to bring late tomatoes, maybe some okra, jicama, Asian eggplant, Aji Dulce peppers, Ghost, Scorpion and Carolina Reaper peppers and featuring fresh Muscadine jam called Dragon Mouth… yeah, it’s HOT!
Mill Gap Farm (CNG): Mill Gap will be there with a few plum tomatoes and potatoes, Arugula, basil, sage, Asian lemon grass, Buthi, yellow crooknecks, garlic, okra. Also Amy’s Burmese Peanuts and morning rolls along with artisan bread, Jerusalem artichoke pickles, and sunflower salad oil.
Pure & Simple: Lisa is back this week with all of her natural health and beauty stuff including hair lotion/beard oil & essential oil roll-ons in three popular scents―citrus, lavender, and peppermint. She’ll also have a variety of naturally handmade soaps, lip balm, sugar/salt scrub, deodorant, sunscreen, bug repellent, household cleaner, pain cream, body butter, hair oil, hand sanitizer, facial cream, liquid soap, foaming soap, dog & people shampoo bars, laundry soap, bath salts, shave soap, and herbal teas.
