TFS Coaches select Indians of the Week

Tallulah Falls School coaches have named their Indian Athletes of the Week for September 12-17.

MIDDLE SCHOOL BOY

unnamed-1Eighth grader Logan Huling of Mt. Airy was selected as an Indian of the Week by middle school coed soccer coach Zac Roland. “Logan provided a much needed spark in the second half of Thursday’s match. He scored his first goal ever and was very important to our attack,” Roland said. “His hard work and great attitude allowed him to step up when it came his turn to shine. Logan was named ‘Captain for a Match’ by the permanent captains.”


 

MIDDLE SCHOOL GIRL

unnamedEighth grader Brinson Hall of Mt. Airy was named an Indian of the Week by middle school volleyball coach Madison Miller. “Brinson is a great influence to all those around her and she’s always willing to do whatever is asked of her on and off the court,” Miller said. “Her selflessness is pivotal to our team’s success.”


 

UPPER SCHOOL BOY

unnamed-2Varsity soccer coach Jonathan Roberts has named senior Mark Faingold of Russia as an Indian of the Week.  “Mark represents Tallulah Falls School at the highest level on the field and off. In his third year as a varsity soccer player, Mark sets a high standard for work and training,” Roberts said. “Mark made a big jump in his soccer ability between his first and second year and has continued to improve and mature as a terrific player. As a captain this season, Mark is genuinely thoughtful and supports his teammates with respect and encouragement.”


 

UPPER SCHOOL GIRL

unnamed-3Senior Sunni Brett of Clarkesville was selected as an Indian of the Week by varsity cross country coach Scott Neal. “As the Team Leader for the annual Cookies ‘n Quotes Cross Country Festival, senior manager Sunni Brett coordinated the baking of more than 600 cookies and the same number of quotes to go in personalized, decorated bags provided to each participant, manager, and coach,” Neal said. “Sunni organized the awards and recognized the top racers at the meet.”
