TFS coaches select Indians of the Week

Tallulah Falls School coaches have named their Indian “Athletes of the Week” for August 22-27.

MIDDLE SCHOOL BOY

 

Middle school coed soccer coach Zac Roland selected eighth grader Chathan Clouatre of Toccoa as an Indian of the Week. Coach Roland stated, “Chathan is a first time soccer player, but he has had an immediate impact on our team. His work ethic and tenacity are both inspiring and contagious.”

MIDDLE SCHOOL GIRL

Eighth grader Anna Barrett of Clarkesville was chosen as an Indian of the Week by middle school volleyball coach Madisen Miller. Coach Barrett said, “I chose Anna for continuously showing courage and pushing through all the trials she faces. The courage and leadership she displays is an integral part to the success of our team.”

UPPER SCHOOL BOY

Freshman Caden Griffis of Martin, a first-year harrier on the varsity cross country team, ran 20:41.58 to place 48th of 210 junior varsity runners at the North Georgia Championships at Lamar Murphy Park in Jefferson in the first regular distance race of the season.  Coach Scott Neal stated, “Caden has improved dramatically in a short time period in his first year and presently is the team’s number five runner.”

UPPER SCHOOL GIRL

Junior Anna Davis of Clarkesville was named an Indian of the Week by varsity volleyball coach Allen Campbell. Coach Campbell said, “Anna had a great week with 22 kills, 15 aces, 21 digs, and three blocks all while playing a new position . She was pivotal in wins against schools from higher classifications.”
