The men’s and women’s cross country teams at Truett McConnell University will take place in five races prior to the postseason in 2016 as announced by head coach Jarret Holland.
The 2016 campaign starts off down in Orlando at the University of Central Florida Invitational on September 10. Two weeks later, the Bears and Lady Bears will head north to Central, South Carolina, to race in the Southern Wesleyan Invitational.
On October 1, TMU will head west to Dallas, Texas, to run in the East Texas Baptist University Invitational. After a week off, the Bears and Lady Bears will run for the first time in the state of Georgia at the Viking Invitational hosted by Berry College in Rome.
The final regular season meet will be in Toccoa Falls at the Toccoa Falls Invitational on October 29. The AAC Championships take place on November 5, with the NAIA Championships in Charlotte, North Carolina, on November 19.
Last year, the men’s cross country team finished second in the AAC Championships and the women finished sixth.
