CLEVELAND, Ga. — The outpouring of support for White County Family Connection’s White Christmas program has been great so far, but Director Nanette Baughman says they need a few more families to be matched up with sponsors.

Family Connection registered 206 families this year and with three days remaining before the school system breaks for Thanksgiving, she said, “We have only 43 families that still need sponsors. We would love to have all of them sponsored by the end of this week.”

Families are available for adoption from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day through Friday, November 17, at the White County School Board Central Office, 136 Warriors Path, Cleveland.

Individuals, families, or organizations can adopt families and purchase gifts for children
