Four people were injured Friday in a rollover wreck involving an SUV and White County Med Unit. SFC Anthony Coleman with the Georgia State Patrol post in Gainesville says the 2015 Ford Expedition was traveling south on GA 11/Old Cleveland Highway when it ran off the road in a curve. He says the driver, 37-year old Sherri Bruce of Cleveland, overcorrected and crossed the northbound lane and center line.
Bruce’s SUV struck the driver’s side of an ambulance driven by 26-year old Zachary Vaughn. Both vehicles overturned multiple times.
The two drivers were injured along with a juvenile passenger in the SUV and a passenger in the ambulance – 28-year old Stephen Peachey. All four were transported to Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville.
