Three houses burned but no one was injured as fire spread through a Flowery Branch neighborhood.

Hall County firefighters were called to the 5400 block of Ashmoore Court around 8:40 p.m. Friday for reports of a residential fire. Upon arrival, crews found a fully involved, small two-story home with two exposures.

Firfighters used a ladder truck to attack the bulk of the fire.

“While crews fought the fire in the main residence, the flames began to spread into the attic of the second home, that was about 15 feet away,” sayd Hall County Fire Rescue Public Information Officer Kimberlie Ledsinger.

Due to the close proximity of the structures, Ledsinger says the flames spread quickly. The fire destroyed both houses and damaged the wall of a third residence.

The cause of the fire is unknown at this time and is under investigation by the Hall County Fire Marshal’s Office.
