CLEVELAND- White County Election officials have successfully conducted the mandated Statewide Risk Limiting Audit for the November 4 General/Special Election. The audit was made on Thursday morning.

White County Elections Supervisor Amie Veater said, “All tallies matched our official election results documents.”  According to Veater, the audit process went exceptionally well. We were fortunate to have Mike Mays, Russell Mobley, and Imogene Palmer from the Board of Elections actively participate in three of the vital audit roles.

Additionally, our two ballot-counting audit teams were comprised of four of our most dedicated and skilled Poll Managers.

“Their teamwork, professionalism, and commitment ensured the audit was both smooth and successful,” said Veater.
