More rain and a wedge this weekend

It is less than two weeks until Christmas and as you head out for any holiday festivities or shopping this weekend be sure to bring a jacket.

Friday will be the nicest day of the next three with skies ranging from partly to mostly cloudy and highs reaching into the mid-50s.

Unfortunately as we head into Saturday a wedge front will move in from the northeast bringing with it plentiful cloud cover and a brisk east wind. Winds will gust to 20-25 m.p.h. on Saturday, particularly in the afternoon. Right now things appear to stay dry until Saturday night when showers will become increasingly likely.

Sunday doesn’t look like a total washout but it won’t be nice by an stretch. The stiff east wind will continue around 20 m.p.h. with scattered to widespread showers throughout the day. High temperatures will also be held down into the mid/upper-40s making for a raw day.

Have a great weekend!
