Victor Vega, 54, of Gainesville, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, at approximately 8 a.m., following a tragic motorcycle accident while en route to East Hall High School. There, he served as a devoted teacher, coach, and leader, deeply committed to the success and well-being of his students.

A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, May 08, 2025, at 4 p.m. in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Thursday, May 08, 2025, from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.

Born in 1971, Victor lived a life marked by service, mentorship, and unwavering dedication to his community. He honorably served in the United States Air Force, with deployments to Italy, Saudi Arabia, and Turkey. Following his military service, he earned a Master of Business Administration from Park University in Parkville, Missouri.

Victor’s love for baseball began in his youth and continued into his college years as a player. His passion for the sport created deep, lasting bonds with family and friends, and he shared that love freely with those around him.

In the classroom, Victor was a beloved teacher of Business & Technology and Business Communications. He also served as the advisor for the school’s Future Business Leaders of America chapter, mentoring students and inspiring them to pursue their goals with confidence and integrity.

Victor is survived by his loving wife, Bethany; his son, Victor Vega III; his brothers; and his mother—all of whom were the center of his world. He was known for his radiant smile, uplifting spirit, and the genuine care he showed to everyone he met. His passing is an immeasurable loss to the East Hall High School community and to all who had the privilege of knowing him.
