Two men were injured in a two-vehicle wreck on Highway 115 east of Cleveland on Thursday. The wreck happened just before noon outside the Cottage House restaurant.

According to White County Sheriff’s Lt. Clay Hammond, 36-year-old Michael Daughenbaugh of Demorest was driving westbound in a Chevrolet Camaro. As he slowed to turn left, a Chevrolet Malibu driven by 30-year-old Justin Frye of Dahlonega rear-ended the Camaro.

White County EMS transported both drivers to Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville for treatment.

Deputies charged Frye with following too closely and driving a motor vehicle with a suspended registration.
