CLEVELAND, Ga. – The White County Sheriff’s Office has arrested two individuals on multiple drug charges following a traffic stop and a subsequent search warrant execution on October 29, 2025.
According to Sheriff Rick Kelley, deputies initially stopped a vehicle driven by Terrie “Border” Lingerfelt. During the investigation, deputies discovered a quantity of methamphetamine and marijuana within the car.
Following the traffic stop, investigators obtained and executed a search warrant at Lingerfelt’s residence on Luther Palmer Road. Authorities located approximately four and a half pounds of marijuana, a another illegal controlled substance, and various drug-related objects inside the home. A second suspect, Lauren Adams, was also at the residence and taken into custody.
The incident resulted in the following arrests and charges:
Terrie Daryl Lingerfelt, 52, of Cleveland, GA:
- Possession of Marijuana with the intent to distribute
- Possession of Marijuana
- Possession of Methamphetamine
- Possession of a Schedule IV controlled substance
- Possession of drug related objects
Lauren Adams, 40, of Cleveland, GA:
- Possession of Marijuana with the intent to distribute
- Possession of a Schedule IV controlled substance
- Possession of drug related objects
