It’s been a sweetheart of a day for Stephanie Anderson, winner of our Who’s Your True Love contest.

The burst of love and happiness started yesterday when we called to confirm that she and her husband, Randy, were winners. This afternoon, Stephanie, was greeted by a beautiful arrangement of roses from Blue Willow Floral.

Next stop was to swing by The Caffienery where owner, Julie Adams, presented her with a delicious basket of coffee and other goodies. She immediately called her husband to make a date for coffee with him tomorrow. How sweet!

She and her husband will enjoy a date night dinner tonight compliments of Now Habersham.

Sounds like a full 24 hours of love to us!

Thank you to all of our many readers for sharing your love story with us. You made us laugh. You made us cry. Based on the “likes” and “loves” on your stories, many hearts were touched but the Anderson’s story received the most “votes.”

Once again, many thanks to our sponsor partners who helped to make this a special Valentine’s Day for Stephanie and Randy, including Blue Willow Floral and The Caffeinery. Now Habersham made sure they are getting a dinner date night at Longhorn’s in Cornelia to round out their day.

Stephanie was thrilled when we called to let her know she and Randy had won the Who’s Your True Love Contest.

“All of our family and friends supported us by sharing our post. We are both ecstatic! My health has been a challenge since the beginning of our relationship. At one point, I almost died, but Randy never left my side,” Stephanie said.

This is Stephanie’s original contest entry:

“I knew my husband was my true love the moment I laid my eyes on him again. We met when I was 13 so back in 1994. Only met for one day. Never saw him again until my 30th birthday. On that day I asked him to come over for a party we were having. He said he couldn’t make it. Then at the time of the party, I heard his truck pull up. I ran out into the rain to meet him and we haven’t been apart since.

This guy has taken my kids in as if they were his own. He has stayed by my bedside at night for 3 weeks straight in a hospital then went home to make sure my mom and kids were good then went to work. Then back home to check on everyone and then back to me for the night. He never complained or took the smile off his face.

He gave me my first marriage to him on Jan 7th at 1230am in the snow. We came home while it was snowing one night I looked at him and said marry me now. He said ok. So we called up some people and got married in front of a church. The only wedding my mom got to see before passing. We then got married that Nov. 11, 2017.

We love each other with our whole hearts. He takes care of me even though I say he deserves better. I tell him all the time he deserves a wife that isn’t sick but he tells me he wouldn’t trade it for the world. I love him so much and would be lost without him.”

And this was husband Randy’s reply to her on our Facebook page:

“Stephanie Tench-Anderson my life is complete. But only because you are in it… I married you for sickness or health and I’ll never back down or walk away. The children are my children and I wouldn’t change it for the world… You call me your strength when in truth your mine.

If I had that party to do over again I wouldn’t change a thing. We’ve grown together and will continue to grow for as long as I have breath… I love you Stephanie Tench Anderson.”

Stephanie and Randy, we hope you are blessed with many more years of true love and happiness!
