Hall competed in three events at the tournament – long jump, triple jump, and women’s 4x100m relay. She won the National Championship title in long jump after breaking the TMU program record and setting a new personal record with a mark of 6.15m.

Opening the event with a mark of 3.34m, Hall recorded the winning mark on her third jump, which ultimately sealed the victory. The next closest mark was from Indiana Tech at 6.14m.

With the win, Hall becomes one of two TMU athletes this year to bring home a national title. The other is Minji Kang in golf. Their titles are the first in the school’s NAIA era since the women’s basketball team was named national champions in 1980.

A ‘force to be reckoned with’

The true freshman was a force to be reckoned with in the regular season and was a key contributor to the women’s track & field historical 2022 season. She recorded three first-place finishes in the triple jump (Life University Invitational, Susan Rouse Invitational, Emory Spring Opener) and three first-place finishes in the long jump (Emory Spring Opener, “Thrills in the Hills”, Appalachian Athletic Conference Tournament) while setting multiple personal and team records throughout the season.

Hall dominated at the AAC Tournament where the Lady Bears earned their best finish in program history (3rd) and individually earned multiple first-place finishes: 100m dash (12.14), 4x100m relay (47.74), long jump (5.77m) and the 200m dash (25.23) while being named the AAC Female Runner of the Year.
