Solar eclipse has come and gone

0

(Cleveland)- People all across Northeast  Georgia were treated to two sun rises today,  the first occurred at 7 O’clock this morning the second at 2:36 PM following the Solar Eclipse.

As we watched the sky get darker, security lights came on and the temperature began going down.   During the time beginning at totality until about an hour later, the temperature dropped by 10 degrees.

Area public safety workers were on alert for the extra traffic in the area and any possible emergencies. None were reported.

Even though the schools were not in session today some took advantage of the day as a teaching experience for their children.
