Circle of Hope, a nonprofit group serving those affected by domestic violence, has been awarded a $10,000 donation from the Jack Bradley Agency through the 2018 Safeco Insurance® Make More Happen Awards.
The Jack Bradley Agency originally received $5,000 for Circle of Hope through a submission process, and Safeco offered Kelley Herrin, an independent agent at the Jack Bradley Agency, an additional chance to help.
The insurance agency and nonprofit had a story about their relationship and positive impact on the community featured on the official Safeco Insurance Facebook page. Together, they were able to raise an additional $5,000 by rallying the community to share their story on Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn at least 200 times over the course of a week.
“We are so grateful to everyone who helped Circle of Hope receive the full $10,000 donation from SafeCo. It is amazing that by “liking and/or commenting” on a story about the partnership between the Jack Bradley Agency and Circle of Hope, so many lives will be impacted,” says Circle of Hope Executive Director Suzanne Dow.
Giving back. Spreading hope.
Circle of Hope provides shelter and support to victims of domestic violence.
“My team and I have worked with Circle of Hope for three years, and we are incredibly thankful for being awarded the Safeco Insurance Make More Happen Award so we can give back even more,” says Herrin. “Circle of Hope has had a significant impact on our community and these funds will help them continue to spread hope to those who sincerely need it.”
Safeco’s Make More Happen Awards focus on nonprofits in the areas of health and safety, education and civil service.
The Jack Bradley Agency was chosen for the award based on a photo and application demonstrating its commitment to Circle of Hope which serves Habersham, Stephens and White counties.
“Our services are provided free of charge and we rely on community support to ensure we can continue our mission to support, empower and bring hope to those experiencing domestic violence,” says Dow. “We are thankful for SafeCo’s commitment to celebrating insurance agents’ volunteerism with nonprofits across the nation.”
