Friday Noon: after taking a quick tour around the north end of the county, I was amazed at the number of folks out and about~
Business thermometers are reading 29 or 31 degrees.
Ingles in Clarkesville is still slammed and has been all morning. (I hear that they still have milk and bread.)
Huddle House is open and full of customers.
Subway is doing a steady business.
Lots of businesses did not open today because of the winter storm warnings. Bridges are starting to be slick so it is a good day to stay tucked inside and warm.
The ice is starting to weigh down trees, especially the pines and cypress. Watch out for breaking branches or fallen trees.
Slow down and be safe out there if you must get out!
