(Cleveland)- The White County Commission paid special tribute this week to a White County couple, Crawford and Ann Skelton of Cleveland, who have contributed to the county through their jobs and community involvement.
Ann, served with the White County School System for many years and Crawford worked at a local auto dealership and local financial institution.
White County Commission Chairman Travis Turner read a special resolution that recognized the couple’s service. Here is part of what Turner said:
“Although Crawford and Ann did not have children of their own, they have been parents to nieces and nephews and helped hundreds of young people by providing food, clothing, financial support, encouraging words and their time.”
Friends of the Skeltons attended the meeting on January 4, 2016 to help the couple celebrate the honor.
