The Habersham County Sheriff’s Office says a 22-year-old woman who went missing earlier this week near Clarkesville has been found safe in Barrow County.
Barrow County authorities located Karissa Grant on Wednesday night, August 20. She was known to have ties to the Barrow County town of Bethlehem.
Grant disappeared for more than a day after last being seen walking in the Hollywood community near Clarkesville.
According to the sheriff’s office, Grant has mental health disorders and there was concern for her well-being. After Habersham issued a lookout for her, hundreds of people in the community shared the notice online.
