Three people were injured in a multi-vehicle crash on GA 105 in Demorest Wednesday evening. The wreck, involving a pickup and two passenger cars, happened around 7:13 p.m. near the intersection of Cap Fry Road.
The Georgia State Patrol’s preliminary crash investigation determined 30-year-old Sam Ivester of Mount Airy was driving a Honda Accord east on GA 105. Troopers say Ivester failed to observe a Toyota Camry stopped at the Cap Fry Road intersection.
The Honda rear-ended the Camry, driven by 18-year-old Mariah Yeh of Cleveland.
After initial impact, the Honda rotated onto GA 105, colliding with a westbound GMC 1500, driven by 46-year-old James Wanzy of Clarkesville.
