A rosary is planned for two Harris County brothers this Monday, November 24, at Striffler Hamby Funeral Home in Columbus. 14-year-old Brayden Swinyard and 16-year-old Luke Swinyard were shot and killed by their stepfather, Eric Grigsby, at their home in Midland, GA. Grigsby was shot and killed by deputies after turning the gun on responding law enforcement during the deadly domestic incident on November 17.

According to their obituary, Brayden Swinyard attended Harris County Carver Middle School and was a theatre enthusiast who had just completed a play. Luke Swinyard was a junior at Harris County High School who loved to cook and was a “foodie”.

The rosary is scheduled for Monday at 5 pm with visitation following until 7 pm at Striffler Hamby Funeral Home. A private funeral mass will be held exclusively for the family.
