Habersham battled back to take a second quarter lead after trailing 10-0 quickly. However, the Raiders were held in check in the second half while Dawson scored 14 unanswered points.
Shawn Thomas (2 TD), Ryte Woodruff (2 TD), and Caleb Bonesteel (2 FG) did most of the scoring, while Zach Holtzclaw added a TD. The game featured four turnovers and Thomas taking the opening kickoff back for a touchdown.
Dawson now owns the series with Habersham, 2-0. Next up, the Raiders take on Madison County August 30 at home. Kick-off is at 7:30 p.m.
