Olivia McCausland, age 69, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 23, 2017.
Olivia Candida Lopes McCausland was born in Sao Pedro Da Torre, Portugal. She came to America at the young age of 15. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred W. McCausland, who passed away in 1996. Olivia was a housewife and pastors wife; she took pride in being both. She loved nothing more than cooking, baking, and taking care of her three children. She loved doing art projects with them and teaching them about gardening. Olivia also took great pride in her role as a pastor’s wife. She was always there for anyone and everyone in the congregation. Many of whom became like a second family to the McCauslands. Olivia was affectionately referred to as “Mama Libby”. Olivia was also a loving grandmother and great-grandmother.
Olivia is survived by her children: Alfred McCausland and his wife, Candace, Rosemary Parker and her husband, Joseph, and Erica McCausland and her husband, Lawrence Palumbo. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Patrick McCausland, Josef McCausland, Kaitlin Holden, April Lunsford, Caleb Holden, Desiree Holden, Joshua McCausland, Kristen McCausland, and John McCausland and one great-grandchild, Leo McCausland.
