North Georgia Community Foundation accepting 2017 grant applications

(Gainesville) – The North Georgia Community Foundation is currently accepting grant requests for projects funded through its Community Impact Fund.

Nonprofit organizations located in the Community Foundation’s 15-county North Georgia service area may apply for funding. Funds are available for organizations with projects designed to improve the quality of life in the region.

The Community Impact Grant Program was established to enhance the spirit of community and quality of life by supporting the network of nonprofits that serve the North Georgia region. The program awarded more than $28,000 to 15 organizations in 2016.

An online application is available at www.ngcf.org/communityimpact and must be submitted by June 30 at noon. To apply, nonprofits must create a login to the North Georgia Community Foundation’s grant application portal. Login requests may take up to 48 hours to be approved.
