CLARKESVILLE, Ga. — North Georgia Technical College’s Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) – LPN to RN Bridge program has been ranked second among Georgia’s nursing schools for 2026, according to RegisteredNursing.org. The honor places NGTC near the top of 52 associate and bachelor’s degree programs statewide.
The ranking highlights NGTC’s 100% pass rate on the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN) since 2023. The NCLEX-RN measures graduates’ readiness for licensure, and those scores are a key factor in the website’s evaluation of nursing programs.
The recognition “reflects the strength of our Associate of Science in Nursing program, driven by highly qualified faculty and exceptional students,” said NGTC Vice President of Academic Affairs Stephanie Benson. “Their dedication to academic excellence and compassionate care continues to set a standard for nursing education across the region.”
ASN Program Director Stacie Perry lauded the school’s consistent pass rates and hands-on training.
“We take pride in preparing skilled, compassionate nurses who are ready to serve and strengthen healthcare in our communities,” Perry said in a news release.
The ASN program is offered at NGTC’s Clarkesville and Blairsville campuses, while the LPN to RN Bridge program is available at the Currahee campus in Stephens County.
