Lynn Alger

Lynn Alger, 59, a resident of Singers Glen, passed away on November 29, 2017 at the University of Virginia Medical Center.

Mrs. Alger was born on October 22, 1958 in Habersham County, Georgia and was the daughter of the late Reverend Donald Campbell, Sr. and Nathalie Gabrels Campbell. She owned and operated LA Services Carpet Cleaning and Restoration. She enjoyed NASCAR, riding motorcycles, and being outdoors.

Surviving are two sons, Richard Anderson and wife Tanner of Dawsonville, Georgia and Anthony Alger of Harrisonburg. She is also survived by her fiancé, Jeff Moyers of Singers Glen and his daughters, Brandy Caplinger and husband Michael of Harrisonburg; April Crider and husband Danny of Broadway; siblings, Linda Moody and husband Jack of Baldwin, Georgia; Brenda Anderson of Mt. Airy, Georgia; Donald Campbell, Jr. and wife Kathy of Cleveland, Georgia; Ray Campbell and wife Deborah of Cornelia, Georgia; and two grandchildren.

Mrs. Alger was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Alger.

Pastor Jeffrey Sonafelt and Bruce Alger will conduct a funeral service on Monday, December 4, 2017 at 2 p.m. at the McMullen Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be held privately at Moyers Family Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday evening from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m.
