The GHSA Golf State Tournament typically marks the end of the spring sports season, and that will be the case for all of our local schools who earned a spot for the two-day tournament starting Monday, May 22.
Habersham Central’s boys and girls will both play in Gainesville, with the boys playing at Chattahoochee Country Club and the girls at Chicopee Woods. Below are the locations for all of the state tournaments.
For the first time, the GHSA Golf State Championships, presented by EZ-Go, will be 36-hole events held on May 22 and 23, 2017 on 14 golf courses around the state. Admission is free. Teams advanced to the state championships directly from Area tournaments based on order of finish with qualifying scores.
