It was an early Valentine’s Day for over one hundred local first responders last Friday. North Georgia Home Group owners Josh and Laura Anderson again picked up the breakfast tab for firefighters, EMTs, and law enforcement officers at Crossroads Cafe in Clarkesville.

The Andersons, both former law enforcement officers themselves, have turned these appreciation breakfasts into an annual offering. They held their first one in 2019.

In addition to supporting first responders, the Andersons have also picked up school lunch tabs for Habersham’s elementary school kids and sponsored a free coffee day for local teachers.

They say these special events are just their way to give back to the community they love.
