Joshua Michael Griffiths, age 31, of Cleveland, Georgia, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, July 13, 2023.
Mr. Griffiths was born on March 6, 1992, in San Diego, California. He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Lamar Thurman; brother, Devon Griffiths; paternal grandparents, Michael and Mildred Roach; maternal grandfather, Paul Osborne; and cousin, Vince O’Neal.
Joshua loved his family deeply. He had an amazing personality and was very humorous. As a child, he was involved in the Boy Scouts, later developing into enjoyment of the outdoors, such as camping and fishing. He was serving as manager over both Wild Impulse Vape Shops in Cornelia and Cleveland since 2019, where he loved to interact with his customers and got to know them personally. Joshua enjoyed watching movies, watching anime, playing guitar, and collecting comic books, but most importantly, his family was his number one priority. Joshua will always be remembered as a loving son, brother, and friend.
Survivors include his mother, Kellie Osborne Thurman, of Cleveland; his birth father, Lee Griffiths, of California; sister and brother-in-law, Cassie Osborne and Allen Randall, of Clarkesville; sister, Tesa Thurman, of Clarkesville; brother, Daniel Thurman, of Braselton; sister, Jewel Thurman, of Cleveland; nieces and nephews, Nick Randall, Natalie Cabaniss, Arianna Cabaniss, Robbie Thurman, Thomas Thurman; and numerous cousins and other relatives.
A Visitation Service will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Sunday, July 23, 2023, at the Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel.
