(Cleveland)- Georgia Lottery President Gretchen Corbin told the White County Rotary Club that lottery proceeds have benefited residents in White County, not just the lucky winners who cash in their tickets, but kindergarten students and those who benefit from Georgia’s Hope scholarships.

Corbin also shared with the club about the healthy sales in the state make it one of the best lottery systems in the nation. Corbin was not the only special guest at the weekly Rotary meeting, former Governor Nathan Deal and wife Sandra attended the meeting.

During the meeting, Corbin presented White County Commission Chairman Travis Turner with a certificate of recognition for the over two thousand Hope Scholarship recipients from White County.
