Frost Advisory in effect for parts of North Georgia

A Frost Advisory is in effect from 12AM til 9AM on Friday, April 23 for Habersham, Rabun, Stephens, Franklin, Hart and Elbert Counties.

Overnight lows near freezing will combine with calm winds to create areas of frost early Friday morning.

Sub-freezing temperatures were recorded overnight Thursday with Blairsville recording the lowest temperature at 25.

Frost and freeze conditions could kill crops and other sensitive vegetation. Take steps now to protect outdoor pets and tender plants from the cold.
