Fire investigators are trying to determine what caused a mobile home in White County to go up in flames. The single wide trailer at 168 Aardvark Trail caught fire around 4:45 p.m. Thursday. When firefighters arrived, half of the structure was burning and was partially collapsed, according to White County Public Safety Director David Murphy.
No one was home at the time.
“Road conditions in the neighborhood caused a delay in apparatus getting to the home, however, it was not a contributing factor to the loss,” Murphy says.
White County Stations 4, 5, Tanker 2 with mutual aid from Cleveland City and Lee Arrendale fire brigade responded to the incident.
No one was injured.
The fire destroyed the mobile home. Officials called in the Red Cross to assist the victims.
