Mrs. Fannie Louise Allen, 77 of Clarkesville, went to her heavenly home on Wednesday, June 16, 2021, peacefully at her residence.
Fannie was born February 6, 1944, to the late Edward and Rhoda Tench in Habersham, Georgia. Mrs. Allen loved her flowers and was an avid gardener. One of her favorite things to do was paint; she did oil paintings the majority of her life. When she was able to go to church, she loved to play the piano and sing at Double Springs Baptist Church. Most of all, Fannie loved her family and her pets.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Allen is preceded in death by her husband Robert Earl Allen; sister Corene London of Demorest; brother Lewis Tench of Stephens County. Survivors include her children John Darrell Allen of Darien, GA; Dean and Tisha Allen of Lula, GA; Shelia and Tim Hill of Clarkesville, GA; grandchildren Dusty Allen of Hazlehurst, GA; Dana Mcleod of Hazlehurst, GA; Austin Allen of Taylorsville, NC; Bliss Passmore of Cornelia, GA; Zachary Hill of Glenco, AL; Jacob Hill of Demorest, GA; 9 great-grandchildren; sister Edna Canup of Mt. Airy, GA, as well a host of other relatives.
A graveside service is scheduled for 12:00 p.m. Saturday, June 19, 2021, at Yonah Memorial Gardens with Rev. Wesley Purcell and Dusty Allen. The Family will receive friends on Saturday at Whitfield Funeral Homes North Chapel from 11:00 am until 11:45 a.m.
The Family has requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Habersham Humane Society P.O. Box 1442 Clarkesville, GA 30523.
