Elizabeth Meade Roob, age 91, of Lula, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, October 22, 2024.
Born in Dublin, Ireland, on June 07, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Emily Smith Meade. Mrs. Roob spent countless hours nurturing children throughout the years. In her spare time, she enjoyed people-watching and watching her game shows, Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Peter Ambrose Roob; children, Michael Roob, Michelle Thomas, Peter Thomas Roob, and Kevin Roob.
Survivors include daughter and son-in-law Denise and Robert Wensel; sons Thomas Roob and David Roob; daughter-in-law Kathy Roob; 13 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Roob’s wishes were to be cremated and a private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
