The Boil Water Advisory has been lifted for Demorest Water customers on Old Camp Creek Road, Oakdale Drive and Woodfield Way.
The advisory was issued Wednesday as a precaution after crews completed emergency repairs on a waterline on Oakdale Drive. The City of Demorest lifted the advisory this afternoon upon approval of test results by the Georgia Environmental Protection Division.
Customers in the affected areas may now resume normal water use.
