Nothing brings in the season more than the North Georgia Technical College (NGTC) horticulture program’s annual plant sale.
Red, white, and pink poinsettias for $8 each; beautiful Christmas, Thanksgiving, and Easter cacti; and other winter boughs are available for you to pick to complete your holiday decor. The plant sale starts December 2 and runs through December 5 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Clarkesville campus greenhouses.
“The Nursery Production and Management class has grown some beautiful poinsettias this year. Red, white, and glittered or variegated poinsettias as well as Christmas, Thanksgiving, and Easter cacti,” Scotty Peppers said. “We are very excited about our mixed containers of pansies and dusty millers which are perfect for your porch during this cold weather plants.”
North Georgia Technical College hosts a plant sale annually in the spring and fall and during the holidays at the Clarkesville campus greenhouses. It is a unique opportunity to see a variety of plants that have been provided and maintained by NGTC Horticulture students.
You will want to come early for the best selection and variety because they go fast.
Cards, cash, and checks are accepted, and all sales must be made in person.
