Alto stolen vehicle fire ruled arson

Investigators are asking for the public’s help to find an arsonist who set a stolen vehicle on fire in Alto.

Someone stole the work truck from the parking lot of Valor Concrete Construction in Banks County, officials say. It was later found abandoned and burned on Grant Mill Road around 3:37 a.m. on Monday, September 13.

“We are asking for the help of the community in bringing the perpetrator(s) to justice,” says State Insurance and Safety Fire Commissioner John King.
