The White County Grand Jury this week indicted a man accused of breaking into local schools. Jurors indicted Christopher James Crocker on four counts of 2nd-degree burglary and three counts of criminal damage to property.
Authorities arrested the 30-year-old White County man in late February in connection with break-ins at White County High and Tesnatee Gap Elementary. Investigators allege Crocker broke into the high school’s sports complex concession stand, then traveled to Tesnatee Gap, where they say he unlawfully entered the cafeteria office and stole around $30 in cash.
Crocker’s was one of 43 indictments handed down this week by the grand jury. Other indictments included five people accused of cruelty to children.
