The City of Cornelia will be closing off a section of Clarkesville Street this weekend for the 5th Annual Apple Blossom BBQ Festival.
Clarkesville Street will be closed in front of the old Cornelia Depot from the intersection of Stovall Street to North Main Street beginning at noon Friday, April 15. The road will remain closed until 10 p.m. Saturday, April 16.
The BBQ festival will feature vendors, a concert stage and kids zone in the area around the depot. Competitions will be held along Main Street.
The Apple Blossom BBQ Festival is one of the first KCBS sanctioned BBQ competitions in Georgia for 2016.
