CLARKESVILLE, Ga. — The Habersham County Board of Commissioners recognized Fleet Services Operations Manager Patty Lee during its meeting on Monday, Dec. 15.

Public Works Director Jerry Baggett read a letter from Assistant Public Works Director Mac Koon highlighting Lee’s contributions to the county’s Fleet Services division.

According to the letter, Lee has played a key role in improving efficiency and organization within Fleet Services. She volunteered to coordinate the registration of 164 emergency response vehicles for the Peach Pass/Toll Pass program, helping ensure reliable operations for critical services.

Lee also managed the surplus of county assets through GovDeals, selling 23 vehicles and 22 pieces of equipment and generating $72,545 in revenue this year, the letter stated. In addition, she closed out 1,322 work orders during the calendar year and successfully stocked 29 leased vehicles while handling all tag and title processing for the Habersham County Sheriff’s Office.

Koon wrote that Lee’s initiative, attention to detail and organization have improved the efficiency and effectiveness of Fleet Services across the county, prompting the request for her recognition as part of the commission’s employee spotlight program.

The employee spotlight program highlights county employees whose work demonstrates exceptional service and impact.
